Forgiveness is not what we expect.  What we expect is revenge.  When we're seriously wronged, and it happens to all of us far too often, when it happens the result is a deep sense of injustice and unfairness and the growing sense that the other person owes us something.  Fortunately for us, the reality is that there is no hint of revenge in God's heart.  But we do discover three realities regarding the heart of God in this passage.
