Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

We welcome children and hope each feel love and support. We offer a variety of programs tailored to the different ages and developmental stages of children. We invite you to further explore our programs below and contact us with any questions. We welcome you, your family, your children.

We invite you to the Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School!  

Get ready for an unforgettable week of adventure at Rainforest Falls VBS! Kids will step into a vibrant rainforest world where they’ll explore the nature of God through stories, music, games, hands‑on activities, and friendships that grow each day.  Throughout the week, children will discover how God cares for them, loves them, and is always with them—no matter where life’s path winds.  There is no fee!

Monday though Friday July 27th to July 31

9:00 am -12:30 pm each day!

CORE

CORE is the overall design of our children's ministry. We strive to:

REACH children in our church and the community.

NURTURE each child.

EQUIP each child with the Word of God and love of Jesus.

SEND each child with the knowledge and love of Jesus to share with others.

Sunday Age Groups

Nursery: Infant - 2yrs
CORE Sunday message: 3 years old - 5th grade

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teacher helpers must attend training.

In addition, we follow cleanliness standards recommended by the state of Delaware and our Session.

BIG IDEA MESSAGE

Each Sunday, following the Pastor's Children's story during the 9:30am service, children ages 3 - 5th grade are invited to the Nurture Building for a children-friendly message.  The message follows the scriptures discussed by the Pastor during service.

AMPLIFY!!

AMPLIFY!! is our incredible Tuesday evening children's group! Offered to children from Kindergarten - 5th grade from 6:00pm-7:00pm each week from September - May.

Our next AMPLIFY!! season begins, Tuesday, September 7, 2021!

Children will enjoy dinner, games and a Bible lesson. Please invite friends, family, neighbors!

Presently, masks, face coverings are required for children under 12 years old and unvaccinated adults.

CHILDREN'S MUSIC - Children grades K -6 are invited to join our Children's Bells and Children's Choir. We also offer Drama Camp every other year.  Click the button below to learn more.

MEGA Sports THIS SUMMER - EVEN BIGGER!!

For one week each Summer, we offer children ages 4 years old - completed 5th grade opportunities to learn about Jesus. Children are grouped by ages for interesting, fun activities. No fees and online, easy enrollment.

Daily Bible lessons, great music for dancing, crafts and snacks all provided! This IS THE PLACE TO BE this summer!!

With 2022 we continue to offer this brand new adventure! This is NOT your typical VBS! During this week, your child will pick one sport: baseball, basketball, volleyball, or dance! During the week, coaches will work with the children to develop sports skills and learn teamwork!

MEGA Sports VBS will be held June 27-July 1, 2022, 9:00am-12:30pm!

SUMMER DAZE

Children in grades 3rd - 8th are invited to our Summer Daze afternoons! Beginning June 28 - July 28, each Tuesday and Thursday, 12:00pm-4:00pm, we offer games, lunch, prayer time and Bible discussion.

This exciting summer activity is free to all enrolled!

Our 2022 Summer Daze season dates: June 28, 30, July 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28

July 28 we are planning our annual Destination Unknown trip, pending any COVID restrictions. Destination Unknown will be 9:00am - 4:00pm.
