How is White Clay Creek different than other churches?

White Clay Creek has been located in Newark for almost 300 years! We are located on the corner of Polly drummond Hill Rd. and Kirkwood Highway.
One of the distinct things about our church is that we’re an all-generations community of faith. There’s a place for you here, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

What can I expect on the weekends?

We have two worship services with distinct voices. One traditional (8:30am) and one more contemporary in feel (11am). In between the services we have a Sunday School hour for all ages.

What do you have for my kids?

The White Clay Creek Children’s Ministry provides quality programming, ministry and care for children of all ages.We strive to create environments that are both safe, encouraging and fun for the child’s age and stage of life. Our teachers and staff undergo background checks and regular training and equipping to ensure that the very best care is being provided for the children at all times. We love what we do and the children we get to work with!
Junior high students grades 6-7 have a special program for them designed to explore the core values of what it means to know, love and serve Jesus Christ. Students in 8th grade participate in a special process to help them explore what it means to be a disciple of Christ as a Covenant Partner (member) in the life of the church. On Sunday mornings High school and college students are encouraged to explore their gifts and calling as they are given the opportunity to come alongside others by using their gifts in service or they can participate in one of our adult classes. How do I get involved?

There are many ways to get involved. Here are four of them:

  • Come to a worship service on the weekend.
  • Look into joining a DNOW Group, and get to know some great people.
  • Contact one of the leaders of our various ministries.
