What's one of your favorite Scriptures?
Matthew 22:36-40 - This passage is my primary point of reference for how I approach all aspects of my life. Loving others, regardless of their beliefs, is the best way to break down boundaries and show them who Jesus really is.

 

What's your favorite spot in the tri-state area?
The Point at Cape Henlopen State Park: This is the place I used to surf and hang out with my high school friends, and now I bring my own kids to the same place on summer weekends.

What's your favorite place you've traveled to?
Middle East - While being deployed wasn't ever a fun experience, I think being transplanted into a totally different place where even the colors on the horizon are different, really put into perspective how fortunate I am to be a U.S. Citizen and the freedoms which that entails.

What makes you laugh the most?
Dry Humor

What's your favorite smell?
Beach Scented Candles - They remind me of family trips to my grandparents' house as a kid.

What are your top three favorite movies?
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, Schindler's List, V for Vendetta

 

What's your hidden talent or a fun fact about you?
Fun fact: I'm an INFJ. That's fun, right?

 

What's your favorite family tradition?
Going on walks with the whole family. It's nice to disconnect from everything we have going on to just walk and talk about our day.

If you could have dinner with anyone (past, present, or future) who would it be?
Paul, the Apostle - I think It would be an interesting conversation to have--talking with Paul about modern churches.
