Being Humbled

Series: Daily Walk Challenge

Summary

Have you ever had the experience of being humbled?  It's not something that people seek out because it's, well, humbling.  Being humbled is difficult to endure because it brings our shortcomings to light, and in some cases it's embarrassing even if no one knows that we've been humbled but ourselves.  However, being humbled is actually a good thing for us if we'll allow the Lord to work through that experience to refine us to become more like His Son Jesus, and as it turns out, being humbled is vital for us spiritually.  In our passage today we see the benefits of being humbled in the person of Naaman, but we'll also be applying some lessons we learn there to our condition of sin.
